Arizona Recommended A/C Guys
I got a HUGE response last week (6/23/05) when I asked readers for personal
references to Arizona A/C guys and roofers. THANK YOU!
I got a lot of good referrals for A/C guys and a few for roofers. It
looks like there aren't as many good roofers as A/C guys.
Anyway, the list is excellent and a few readers asked to see it. The
list for the A/C guys is below. Here is the list of recommended

I didn't mentioned to readers (or know) that I would publish their recommendations

had good dealings with John's refrigeration 480-649-1000. They replaced

just replaced mine and after much discovery with several vendors in the
valley, I went with Sears. They were a little more expensive, however,
their product, service and warranty package was worth the extra money.

Just responding to your request for an A/C contractor. Just had the experience
of replacing my 5 year-old A/C unit that was 15 days out of warranty.
After a couple phone calls, some intial misinformation from others and
various price quotes ended up utilizing: J & E Climate Control 623-932-1674

Forgot to tell you, a good Air Conditioner Guy is Country Heating and
Cooling. It's a family owned company and a group of us have used them
for years. They are honest, and good people, pretty ok pricing too.

have been working with (as an interactive CUSTOMER) Bob Sands, owner of
Cactus Mechanical, for over 20 years with anything from installing my

I had to put on a new AC yesterday, but I got a Trane XL1400 heat pump.
The unit looks like a great upgrade (from a 21 year old Trane 9 Seer.).
